This unit applies to individuals whose job role involves towing and siting a recreational vehicle. This could include people who work in holiday parks or in the manufacture, service, repair or sale of recreational vehicles.
Recreational vehicles may include pop tops, expanda or slide out, full van, cross-country or an off road all-terrain caravans; camper or tent trailers; five-wheelers; slide-on campers or campervans.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to safely tow and site a recreational vehicle in off-road spaces.
This unit assumes the driver possesses a current driving licence. Driving must be carried out in compliance with the licence requirements and regulations of the relevant state or territory roads and traffic authority.
